This project asks you to re-imagine our national heritage using your own stunning photography and beautiful type. Using the typographic skills I have learned and my own photography I brought to life a chosen aspect of Scotland’s heritage. (Cockenzie and Port Seton Harbour). The range of typography is a mixture of conventional and experimental. We were challenged to make not just a book but an object of art. The tone of the book aims to be quite serious with a distinct mood. This allowed me to apply my practical crafting skills to the final outcome which is to be a beautiful book.
